  Octagonal building technique: help!
 
I am in the process of creating a building that has eight sides. Four of them were easy to create as they are either perpendicular or parallel to each other. The problem is with the other four sides. Here's a picture of my snotifall: (URL) sure there's more pictures out there somewhere. I haven't managed to post any myself. The basic construction is a backing of blue plates, with smaller blue plates staggered around to increase texture, and then (...) (...) Hello I really have now idea about us messuarements, but my guess ended up with 68.8x24s wheels from the black cat or 5563. Since alot of people have used those for 1/16 scaled models before. Keith, I've checked the calculations: Length: 40ft * 304.8mm/ft / 16 / 8mm/stud = 95.25 studs Width: 102" * 25.4mm/in / 16 / 8mm/stud = 20.24 studs Height: 118.5" over roof hatch * 25.4mm/in / 16 / 3.2mm/plate = 59 plates high off the ground (...) Hi guys, I have started building a 1:16 model of the (URL) VII> transit bus (something I have not seen done so far). I remember someone way back explaining certain abbreviations like ABS and TLG vs. TLC, but I was looking for a greater point of reference and couldn't find (...)
