Re: MOC: Florist shop (part one)

(...) Dear Mel, thanks for sharing these very cool previews. I loved to surf through this colorful gallery. This is simply the best shop I have ever visited! Leg Godt! Ben (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

-snip- And I will dub this new style: El Greco. huh? That name is taken, well floob! Lix0r, I love this new stuff and the way you keep thinking of new and creative ways to do it! (...) Very nice. Love the use of color. I'd like to note the excellent use of printed parts. The stone walls and wood floor tiles are used very effectively, nice job! ~Kevoh (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: MOC: Florist shop (part one)

(...) Those would be from the new (now old) World City sets. They come as bars of gold. Nice job BTW Mel, I love the way the colourful inside contrasts with the outside walls. It reminds me of the 3739. And I dread to think this is noly part one! (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Melody Brown wrote: SNIP (...) I don't recall ever seeing so many LEGO flowers and pots in one MOC. Great job, and original, even if the flowers seem to be growing from the stop's floor. What set did those gold tiles (on the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) Thanks Eric. Since I put the yellow stripes down the middle (instead of the edges), I'm asking myself "Why the **bleep** didn't I do this before?!?!" Oh well ;-) Adr. (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

WOW! That is really nice! I love all your studies. So far I wish I had a section of all your road and bridges so I can enjoy them here in my house. The stripes on the roadway worked out good. The main bridge structures and a joy to see. Thanks! e (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) A couple traffic lights on all three sides would work fine. Assume the three sides are A, B and C (counter-clockwise), and you had lights before the Y (1) and at the stop sign (2). During Rush hour and peak times (as determined by a traffic (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) Thanks. (...) No, there isn't a bridge like this in my area. The idea came from the movie "Chronicles of Riddick" of all places. There was a building, four sided but walls curved inward and with open court in the middle. When I saw that (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks Samarth. Ya, I'll admitt what the deck sits on was one of those "Awe, what the *bleep*." times. I spent some much time (and money!) on the deck design that when it came to what to stick under it I was in an "OK, now what?" state. I have (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) It's awesome. It's also a gridlock nightmare waiting to happen. Is this from a real bridge? All 3 directions have stop signs. And all 3 cross in front of another stop sign. So if there is enough traffic, everything will grind to a hault (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)
