Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) Thanks. (...) No, there isn't a bridge like this in my area. The idea came from the movie "Chronicles of Riddick" of all places. There was a building, four sided but walls curved inward and with open court in the middle. When I saw that (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) Thanks Samarth. Ya, I'll admitt what the deck sits on was one of those "Awe, what the *bleep*." times. I spent some much time (and money!) on the deck design that when it came to what to stick under it I was in an "OK, now what?" state. I have (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) Thanks. An entire road structure in the house would be nice but I haven't won the super lotto jackpot yet (Yes, I do play). (...) My mom taught me how to houseclean ;-) Adr. (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) It's awesome. It's also a gridlock nightmare waiting to happen. Is this from a real bridge? All 3 directions have stop signs. And all 3 cross in front of another stop sign. So if there is enough traffic, everything will grind to a hault (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) A new direction indeed. Freaking amazing, Adrian, you've somehow outdone youself. The only thing missing is California grid-lock. -Keith (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

(...) I haven't really keep up on what you are doing or what you are "studying" but WOW! That is amazing. I hope to see (via pictures) an entire road structure through your house. Keep up the amazing bridge and road work. Brian P.s. I was equally (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Winter's New Direction: Study 17

  Re: butt-to-butt connections

(...) My best idea for doing this flush in a 1-brick thick wall is to make a line of headlight bricks, if you can get enough in brown. You alternate one upright, one face down, one upright, one face down, all pushed together. If the last one is (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: butt-to-butt connections

Are these butt-to-butt bricks supposed to form a flat surface, or upright walls with the studs facing out left and right, or a vertical wall with studs up and down?
