  Re: Model being "painted"

(...) The building I remember was Rosco's ISCC 2 entry - Making of the Town Scene Included laying the road, erecting the buildings in grey and then "painting" them to the correct colour parts HTH William (23 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

  Model being "painted"

Does anyone recall examples of MOCs where the model changes color part way and there is a minifig hard at work "painting" it? I swear I remember this but I am having trouble finding it... pointers appreciated. I think I've actually seen this more (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Mischief3

(...) I like the design. The first picture gave me the feeling that this 'bot is up to no good. Not planet-destroying-no-good, but more like I'm-gonna-put-pepper...ee-no-good :-) And it is not really Bionicle, because I can see studs! Good work. (...)   Re: Does Anyone Have Any Information On This?

(...) Yes, it is a Decapod built by Brian. He actually brought it to the TCLTC clubhouse so that I could see it in person:-) He even installed a sound card in it (tres cool). JOHN (23 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Does Anyone Have Any Information On This?

(...) I think that might be the work of Brian Williams. IIRC he had a Frisco engine that won a very special mention at BrickFest DC 2003,,, (23 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Modularity of LEGO (was Re: LEGOs (sic) make an appearance at ExtremeTech

(...) (snip) (...) It's a pet peeve of mine to insist that the analogy of modular programs to LEGO parts is overrated and underrated at the same time. Every so often this analogy pops up in tech articles on modular software engineering, without (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Brickcreations.com is now online!

(...) I'd kinda like to see better photos of that one as well, but more because I'm interested in seeing how feasible it would be to build Batman in that same style, as he's a much cooler character. And he can beat up Superman. Do you still have (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)
