  A San Francisco Victorian

Hi all, I've completed a small, but pretty detailed, version of a San Francisco Victorian. I used (URL) this picture> as a starting point. The results will be (URL) on Brickshelf> once moderated. Until then, here's a teaser pic: (URL) And a (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: [MOC] YA40K Chaos Talon Fighter-Bomber

(...) [snip] (...) Thanks. It is a first draft. I hope to make at least two versions for the Chaos Powers that use them. Original has much shorter and multi-hose'ed but my RamsHorn-look does hark back to the Warhammer(think castle vs space) era Gor (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

Hi all! As a castlehead, I've wanted a web site of building techniques (eg, SNOT), and things in the castle world (eg, archer loops). It appears almost translucent in the pic but looking more carefully now, it seems it's actually the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: First MOC: Cuckoo Clock

(...) Aw, go on, you make me blush! Thanks! I'm not sure I know what you mean by the top door. If you are referencing the area where the cuckoo bird is, I just used one of those 2x3 plate peices that are like a trailer hitch type thing, where the (...)   Re: First MOC: Cuckoo Clock

(...) Thanks Kevin! Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for the trees. Those were designed by a friend of mine in the modelshop. They were actually for sale this last year in the park at Christmastime. Might still have some left for sale, except the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: First MOC: Cuckoo Clock

(...) Thanks for your comments! This is only one instance of using non-LEGO parts. Ususally I would never do this as I always have said - anything can be built in LEGO. But I really wanted to make this look as realistic as possible, in the right (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)
