Indeed, it is a complete house, even with partition walls for more strength and
supporting the roof.
There are some 14,000 parts used in this blue palace, including 508 white
windows 2x2.
I like this scale because I think it is the most logical. Why? Well, look at a
standard 2x4 brick. It is about 32mm (1-1/4in.). An average doorway is about
800mm (2 6")
This is roughly 25 times the length of a normal brick. The height of a doorway
is some 2.6 times the width. That means 8 layers (low doorway) or 9 layers of
brick (more monumental type of door).
It is also a good scale for a stairway. One brick of 9.6mm makes a nice step.
Unfortunately, there are no minifigs or something that fit in this scale. If so,
it has to be about 72mm (2-3/4 inch).

| (...) You could build figs that are miniland-like, though your scale is just a bit smaller. You could also use Jack Stone/Creator figs, which are about 2-1/4 inches. Many of the Jack Stone figs are too stylized to look like normal people, but the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)
