Anthony, this is a very cool moc.  I'm obviously a big fan of the sci-fi
industrial genre, and its nice to see a project that doesn't have any • specific
military application.  Although you have to know it would look cool with • troops
running around breaking steam-pipes and planting explosive charges.

I'll save those shots for when I disassemble it. (evil grin)

The greebling was good, but imho perhaps needs a little more.  Maybe some • smaller
piping?  I don't know.

looking back at it, I agree that parts of the roof are pretty bare, and the
ductwork could use some beefing-up.

Like I said on mocpages, the turbines, overhead pipe and the door are • epic.  I also
liked the falcon quadrant peice.  It really gives a sense of being buried • in the sand.
I'm usually not a fan of using the raised-up baseplates, but this one • looks very cool,
and in context.

I wish I could remember who I stole the door design from. the original was
studs-out on both sides, 5 plates thick... I couldn't find any small plate
hinges, so I just used the slopes to suggest reinforcing.

Again, cool moc..
right up there with the seawall project (which I'm hoping you will
continue).

my next project is the underwater portion of the seawall. hehehe...

There is only one problem with this moc, it needs to be bigger damn-it, • bigger!
Lets see three of these clustered together.  (I know, easy for me to say).

yeah, you do seem to have a near-infinite grey brick supply. I may be able
to scrounge one more steam plant together, but I'll have to rebuild the
current one (with quite a few more studs-out walls.)

Loved the backstory on this one too, the whole idea of the steamfields is • very
atmospheric and inspiring.  Well done.

thank you very much.

I decided to build this after seeing Keith Goldman's most recent MOC, • Station
62. thinking about the Iron Reich started me thinking about the
Trifecta, which started me thinking about legos and what I should build
next... and out popped this.

This moc got me thinking about a steam-bath, and then a sandwich.  A • roast-beef
sandwich.  We like-minded gray-brick-loving opressive nation-states have • to
stick together.

P.S.: I'd suggest that the Cyber-Mage meet the Imperatrix... but one of them
wouldn't survive the meeting, I'm sure...
