On my way back from Thailand, I made a stop in Kuwait. (My ticket was a
very cheap one, see?) Anyway, the transit area in Kuwait was an
extremely boring one, but they did have the Micro Technic sets. So to
pass the time, I played around with the pieces from the 8208

to see if I could make a different bike than the two on the box. It was
very hard, so I had to get a few more boxes of parts. This is what I
ended up with, but I'm still not at all satisfied:

(Sorry, there is no descriptive text there, only five LDLITE-ed images
of the bike. Also note that the part "Technic Connector with Cross Axle
Hole" is still missing; I used two "Technic Bush" in stead.)
I feel that the bike looks quite unrealistic and odd, and I wonder what
I should do to improve it. Do any of you listeners have an idea?
Of course, the wheels are far too wide for a bike of this kind. Perhaps
the pulleys with the black "rubber wheel" around them is a better match?
On a side note, I would say that I'm still greatly impressed by the
design of the Micro Technic sets. They are very nicely made, and the
design is quite inspiring to look at.
