Thanks.  The arch assembly is attached with only two 1x1x1 bricks with studs
on the side.  There is one of these on the 2nd floor (where the molding
begins) and another on the roof.  One might find it hard to believe that
only two of these bricks could hold that entire assembly (which is quite
heavy) in a solid fashioon.  The trick is that the bottom of the assembly
rests on top of plates on the 2nd floor.  Between the platest and the 1x1x1
brick with a stud on the side, the entire assembly is held tight and most of
the weight is on the plates, not on the connectors.
