Very nice!

All dimensions are based on connecting two Lego set #5986 (Amazon Ancient
Ruins) 5 and 5/8 inch rowboats together (stern to stern) to create a 25 foot
whaleboat. Whaleboats were pointed at BOTH ends for safety reasons, but the
whale's tail was still often quicker.
Those large rowboats look like they join very well - much better than the
smaller ones, and are a much nicer representation of a whaleboat than using
traditional 6 wide hull piece.

I named the whaleship 'TESS', because I wanted to deal with only 'square'
letters, that is, those letters with horizontal or vertical members.
It's also short, and you can't overate the importance of using short names,
when building them from bricks. As one who has a ship named 'Speculative
Endeavour", I should know :-)

More pics will be added as building continues.
I'm looking forward to them with much anticipation!

Cheers
