Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) Where did you get so many 2x2x3 slopes for the roof?! I could do half of one side in a plethora of colors. I'd kill for that many slope pieces. (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: MOC: Bridges for Trains

(...) ...Fantastic work! I'd love to see some details of the girder structure (like how the LEGO math worked out to for that height).   Re: The Royal Train Website

(...) Good Heavens! That's like those guys who sculpt animals out of grains of rice! Unless you're three inches tall, that's an astonishingly small medium to choose. Bravo! Dave! (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.publish.photography)

Chris, The dark green on the "Kathryn" locomotive is nothing more than carefully trimmed contact paper used to line kitchen drawers.   Re: New Mindstorms MOC

(...) Yup, those are my (patent pending) wheelie bars. When I was first driving it around the house, whenever it would go over something taller than 1/2 inch, it would tend to fall on it's back. I put the wheelie bars there and now it just drives (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

Re: Dark Gundam 03 - more

  Re: Another creation

(...) Oh yeah. That's got a good look to it. I like the sandwiched wings and the movable trust nozzles. Very cool. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Dark Gundam 03 - more

(...) I'm also using the technic turntables in the hip joints instead of the linear worm actuators. I'm hoping they will be strong enough, since this gundam is heavier than the others, but the turntables make for a very neat and compact design, and (...)   Another creation

(URL) is my second ship built from the pieces I have with me. Its very StarWarsian but I like it. The wings angle up for landings and it has two jets on click hinges in the back. -Jon (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  New Mindstorms MOC

Here are some pictures of a new Mindstorms MOC. It is a real creation I made that uses the light sensor and the IR port for proximity detection.
