Re: Classic Space Contest entry: Scorpion Rover

Thanks for the compliment, I threw in some Photoshop and presentation skills. If you use Adobe Photoshop (a must, really) , I'd be happy to give you the .psd file and some tips to make your set have a box like this. The technique concerns using (...)   Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) I assume that one of the pieces is the blue 33 degree 3x6 slope. I'm currently working on it, but I don't expect it to be done terribly soon. You can use my mockup, though. The only problem with the mockup is that the logo is far too small (I (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) They certainly did come on some classic space sets- the 1979 Alpha-1 Rocket Base <set:483> came with 3. Yours look like they might be longer, though, and may well have come from a different set. But unless I'm totally confused, they are (...)   Re: AT-ST v2.0

(...) Not a problem; in fact getting me to shut up is often more difficult. (...) Huge amount of time? 4 hours?! That's it? I like to think I strive for accuracy in my models too but I've never come close to doing anything that looks even half as (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

(...) Yeah I know about the voting, but I don't like the way he organized the contest. (1)Votes are to be send in through snail-mail!!!! (2)He hasn't even updated the main page since may 10th!!!!!! I know he's probably very busy but I just think (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

(...) Nice, Kevin. I liked the sloped underside. Is there landing gear stowed somewhere up in there that you didn't photograph? If there is, would you show it to us? -- John J. Will you do (...) Hmmmm very interesting.... Anime mecha.... If I can find some good pics, I'll build one. It will have to be a small mech because I only do small MOC's. Greetz, Jay (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: My entries

(...) I agree. But I think it takes a bit of skill to drive it. I'd guess that when you make, say a U-turn, it wont make a pretty half-cirkle like a car, but it will first rotate 180° around its own axis, then the engine thrust will push it in the (...)   Re: AT-ST v2.0

(...) I agree with Mark and James - it's a great model with a lot of detail. But this group moves on so fast you get about forty messages back in 24 hours, and no-one sees them. For example, who read Ralph Döring's message that voting is open on his (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)
