  Re: AT-ST v2.0

Nobody replied to my post. So is it safe for me to conclude nobody liked my new MOC? Geez I hope not :( It's still ok to let me know what you think :-) Greetz, Jay New and better pics will follow shortly. And eh... Mr Hayes, thanks for the input.   Re: Classic Space Contest Entry - Galaxy Excursion

Wow, and it's built to the same scale as Ford's Excursion, too! Way cool, Kev! ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

(...) Aw, heck, thanks. I can't take total credit for the design, however. Someone posted a ship design a couple months ago that was set up just like mine, but used a single 1/4 saucer on each side of the ship. I don't remember who posted it, tho. (...)   Re: Classic space contest entry/ies

(...) ???...??? It does?. *quick check* Yes, you're right -it looks a bit beige... Actually, on my screen it is grayish yellow, but I guess that could appear as beige on other screens. But it *is* yellow. Unless it's one of those limited edition (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

That's wild, the minifig on the Search Scout looks beige on my screen - so do the hoses. Evil Wayne ___...___ "There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness." (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

(...) Once again Muffin Head, you rule: totally off the wall design, wickedly original (yet somehow reminiscent of Star Wars ship design, especially Slave One... and I thought so before I went back and read that you did say it's a Bounty Hunter (...)   Re: Classic Contest Entries

My final entry is the Geosurvey Rover, in category 9: Mobile Laboratories. (URL) makes 10 entries, putting in a showing in every category except for Mobile Rocket Launchers and Space Bases (and 2 entries in Medium Ships). I've certainly outdone (...)   space sled

Here's something I've had built for quite a while now. I'd like to enter it into Todd's "Classic Space" Contest. "(URL) only difference between this "virtual" model and the "real-life" model is that the windscreen for the "real-life" model is (...)   Classic space contest entry/ies

Here's my "Planet Explorer", a model in the "Medium sized ship category": (URL) know that the rules said you can only enter one entry a day. However, if it is possible, I'd like to enter a second model today: The "search scout", a ship within the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

You know, I couldn't resist building this thing -- and it's even better than I thought -- or rather, even worse... On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a -5!!! Tony, you have transcended the merely "bad." You are warping lego space with the sheer lunacy (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  3rd contest entry

I figure its after midnight (I should be sleeping) so I'll post my 3rd entry, The Cygnus 9 Patrol Craft. (URL) forgive me for the dark pictures. I'm using a new camera and was also in a hurry. In my haste I forgot to use the flash. This ship is (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Classic Space Contest Entry - Galaxy Excursion

I was inspired by Jon Vanzweitzen's Galaxy Expedition, so I tried to build an even bigger model, the Galaxy Excursion: (URL) it doesn't use as much trans-yellow, because I ran out. (category: Large Space Ship) KL (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  classic space entry

Here is my second entry, the XEON Module. Its supposed to look like a later CS model. This will go in the small ship Category. (URL) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Cool! Another crfat using the saucer sections on the sides. I like the way the computer/controls are attached with a battle droid arm here: (URL) What type of system do the lower front saucers slide up and out on? it looks kind of like the new click (...)   Classic Space contest Cat.1: Star Scooter

Here's a polybag-sized scooter using 17 pieces plus the minifig. If the three parts were removed from the bottom of the craft (not visible in photos), the parts count could be reduced to 14. Note the two alernate models. After creating the scooter I (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests)
