Brian, Big Big Big!!! I love it! Big man yeah! Them gosh darn things is huge! These are too cool for words. I am simply blown away. Awesome work! (...) Can you elaborate on this a little? What kind of gears? How is it all put together? That kind of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Hehe, okay Tony. I was curious because I have a 920 Launch Pad that I markered some of the studs on when I was a kid. I did this to mark where the building legs had to go, because I no longer had the instructions. I was just wondering if (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  AT-ST v2.0

Well... After a long time I finally had the time to build my own AT-ST. My previous version was offcourse a shameless copy of Shaun Sullivans masterpiece. My AT-ST V2.0 (yeah that's right!) has been made from scratch. I always thought that my (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  New Europian Truck

  Re: Dark Gundams

(...) Not sure what you mean by boat plates. Both gundams use only various angle plates stuck together for the outer armor. Probably the only really unusual parts are the rubber hovercraft skirts used for the black Gundam's wing thrusters. As for (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dark Gundams

(...) Thanks. The Gundams are big enough to use the Falcon as a boogie board, surfing the exoatmosphere. Both were equally fun to build. The advantage of Gundams though is that there can be infinite variations. I could build a dozen different (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dark Gundams

(...) Wow! I like the way you used the 6x7 Boat plate, and made the Gundams all vertical (i.e. slopes facing upward) Kevin (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Oh MAN. Not only have you crafted some superb Gundams, but you also are responsible for my favorite Millennium Falcon MOC. You rock, dude! ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Dark Gundams

I've been developing technology for building large mecha (28 inches) with technic skeletons and gear driven joints over the last couple of months after messing around with Star Wars designs. Gundams are an interesting theme and well suited to this (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha) !!

  Baroque Villa

This is a Baroque villa based on Villa Amerika, in Prague (1720). I'm afraid that not all of the ornamentation comes through in the LEGO version. It looks a bit more neo-classical rather than baroque. (URL) posting the model on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: And I shall call him ... MiniMech

That is possibly the coolest mech I've seen in a long time. It reminds me of ED-209 from Robocop, and I've always loved that design. I'm feeling inspired, I think I'll go and try to build my own mech along those desing lines. Thanks for the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Futuristic Capital Building

This is a futuristic capital building I created. (URL) utilizes a number of different classical architectural styles, and some art-deco, but the final look is decidedly futuristic.   Re: New TIEs

(...) Mark: nope, it's not. I ran out and bought a 7313 (what the heck, they're 20% off at Zellers, so it came out to just over $22 (about $15 $USD)) and the pieces are blue grey (very close to the shade Jay rendered his Ties in, but a little more (...)   Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Well it really could fit any of those categories. Maybe they should create a category for entries that cannot be decided on. Really, that has to be the wackiest model ever designed (catagorie 11!!!). And I thought I had built the strangest (...) (24 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Church design - what is right?
