  Re: New TIEs

Beautiful renderings of the "real" models, Jay. I'm consistently impressed by your capability to capture the Star Wars feel in LEGO parts. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: F7 Diesel engine

Very nice, Kim. The Soo is (was) a midwestern line, and so that and the Milwaukee Road are my favorite lines to model. I see you decided to model in purgatory scale (7 wide;) Actually, I've found that modeling in odd numbered studs is rather (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: F7 Diesel engine

Kim, I don't build trains, but that is a very nice looking model. Looks like you got a nice resemblance to the train you were basing it one. What really impresses me about this model is the ingenious way that you mounted those round windows. :-) (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: F7 Diesel engine

Hi Kim, many THANKS for sharing pictures of your latest train engine!! I also love these curved elements, I can't get enough of them! The "nose" is modeled very nicely! By the way I discovered the other parts of your LEGO webseite! Fantasic. The (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  F7 Diesel engine

I've just finished work on my new SOO F7 Diesel. Come on over and take a look. (URL) the link immediately below "What's New"... its listed as "SOO F7". Fairly straight forward.   My first MOC a snowspeeder

Hello all. I'm a 32 year old kid reliving his childhood with some lego fun. I've recently bought the Tie Interceptor and X-wing UCS models and have begun creating my own models too. My first one is a snowspeeder. Check it out on my website: (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Mecha 02

Bryce Wow. This sucker is even more impressive in it's completed form--I've enjoyed seeing it in it's "work in progress" stage (as well as the "forgot the legs" stage). Nice work. -Henry (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Abston Church of Christ

(...) the (...) That's a very entertaining narrative. One comment though. I'm not sure how other people feel about this, but with dated list entries like what you have, I tend to prefer having the newest entries at the top, so I can quickly scan the (...)   Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Thanks! It's sitting right next to my keyboard at work, and is somewhat distracting. I can't help but pick it up and twiddle the legs every once in a while. (...) Yes- I really think we need another polybag category. Todd? While we're on the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Church update - UPS breaks our windows

I was supposed to receive a package from LEGO shop-at-home today but UPS damaged the package so badly they admit it was damaged and are sending it back to the shipper for inspection. I've updated the construction notes with my recent UPS experiences (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

I actually did "laugh out loud" when I saw this. Its really kinda cute. To answer your question: I suppose it could go in any one of those categories but personally it would be neat as a ground based poly bag set. Tell ya what, if you enter it in (...)
