  Re: Mona Lego Mosaic

(...) Uh, I mean... Very nice, as usual. Will you be personally overseeing it's installation on-site? Are you at liberty to discuss the nature of the site (ie, lobby of some building, client's office, client's residence)? eric (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Fishlips Minifig?

I recently purchased the Hydro Crystalation Station (6199) and the catalog cover shows a minifig with a blue face, golden fishlips and I was curious what set he/she/it comes from. It's wearing an Insectoid helmet - I know the catalog's out of date, (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build)

  Mona Lego Mosaic

Well, After many hours of building (and many hours of trying to accumulate massive thousands of green 1x1 bricks), I have finally snapped some pictures of my Mona Lego project: (URL) ---...--- Eric Harshbarger / eric@ericharshbarger.org / (...)   Re: Classic Space set 6888

(...) Thanks! (...) Actually, I used a Gaussian blur in Corel PhotoPaint. (...) They are reflected in each other. The stars were added later though, so they're not reflected. In an official LEGO manual, the stars are drawn on a backdrop (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

(...) Since no one seems to have anything to say about the scans, I've uploaded some clearer pics of the images before they were "scanned". (URL) case anyone is interested, here's how I made the pics: I started by LDrawing the model and components (...)   Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

(...) If you don't like the colors, you might try hacking the model files to change the color values. There's a 0 COLOR meta-statement, which allows you to assign any RGB value to any color-code. This includes transparency and dithering treatments. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Ah, ha, yes!! Paradisa Country Club <set:6418> indeed had such a pony in brown. I have one from my cousin's set. Those are probably pretty hard to come by, but worth a shot; those would probably work pretty well in that (amazing, may I note) (...)   Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

Nonsense! Build it full scale! :) That ought to bring out the true beauty of the building! Be sure to provide for the accompanying piazza so we can get the correct viewing angles ;) Build On!
