  Re: More Pics....

(...) Well, they were premade decals. WARHAMMER (makes pewter figs) has tons of these decals. I have yet to find ANY medium for printing out graphics onto a stickable surface to be placed on plastic. -Kyle (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  RE: new truck heavy load

(...) Well, besides using 3 transparent blue thinwalls , the soccer team bus has 2(!) 6 wide windshields. I've been eyeing these and can't wait for them to go on clearance.....   Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) If you don't mind, posting the .dat files to lugnet.cad.dat.models or putting them directly on your web pages would be most nice. Regards, Hakan (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

  Re: new truck heavy load

Thanks Eric for that link, I've been admiring those already. Has any one got any ideas how to model flat front wind-screens/shields in six-wide? I can't find a method I'm happy with. This has more to do with buses though, but I'd be interested to (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: TLC: Use annual contests for Classically-designed set releases!

(...) I don't buy that argument- the classic sets had very few specialty pieces. That's the beauty of classic space. They did so much with mostly basic parts. For example, I can't imagine it would be too difficult to build a Galaxy Explorer out of (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Don't I remember seeing a pony in some sets - maybe from paradisa? That might work for a smaller-scale horse... J (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Hmmm. Perhaps LEGO colors lack the... subtlety to bring out the true beauty of the real building. ;D eric (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Arr. I always just assumed that I'd do them with normal minifig horses... but you're right, they would be out of scale. Oh, well. (...) Not I. To be honest, though, to get horses that are at the scale and level of detail that the rest of your (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: new truck heavy load

Hi Eric, I am impressed again over your 8-wide truck creations!! Heavy load and cranes are one of my favorite themes!!   Re: Cruise Ship

(...) Thanks. I have something of a fascination with those big loveable lugs. (...) Queen (which by the way, I hadn't had a chance to see before. Very impressive. I love the consistency with greys) seems a little smaller on the height side. Remember (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: TLC: Use annual contests for Classically-designed set releases!

(...) I was thinking a bit more about the re-releasing of older sets, and decided that we haven't got a prayer. There's just too many elements in those older models that aren't being manufactured anymore. Wouldn't Lego have to make a tremendous (...)   Re: Classic Space set 6888

Wow! Really nice picture! Did you use focal blur to make the hills unsharp? One thing though: How come the lego bricks aren't reflecting the stars (and each other)? Or maybe they do, but I can't see it. --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

You have done such a beautiful job, that the color does not harm it at all. I am sure trying to achieve the original colors will be very difficult.
