  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Arr. I always just assumed that I'd do them with normal minifig horses... but you're right, they would be out of scale. Oh, well. (...) Not I. To be honest, though, to get horses that are at the scale and level of detail that the rest of your (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: new truck heavy load

Hi Eric, I am impressed again over your 8-wide truck creations!! Heavy load and cranes are one of my favorite themes!!   Re: Cruise Ship

(...) Thanks. I have something of a fascination with those big loveable lugs. (...) Queen (which by the way, I hadn't had a chance to see before. Very impressive. I love the consistency with greys) seems a little smaller on the height side. Remember (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: TLC: Use annual contests for Classically-designed set releases!

(...) I was thinking a bit more about the re-releasing of older sets, and decided that we haven't got a prayer. There's just too many elements in those older models that aren't being manufactured anymore. Wouldn't Lego have to make a tremendous (...)   More Pics of "The Brick House of Horrors"

Happy Halloween Bricksters! I added some more pictures to BrickShelf of "The Brick House of Horrors". These pictures were grabbed from a video I made of the House.   Re: Classic Space set 6888

Wow! Really nice picture! Did you use focal blur to make the hills unsharp? One thing though: How come the lego bricks aren't reflecting the stars (and each other)? Or maybe they do, but I can't see it. --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

You have done such a beautiful job, that the color does not harm it at all. I am sure trying to achieve the original colors will be very difficult.   "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

A couple people requested a more accurate color scheme for my St Marks Cathedral model. I went back and looked at my photos and the real building, is, in fact, quite colorful. Here is the more 'accurate' version. I don't personally like it this way. (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

That could be fun as well. :^) I could build a GE with my current parts, but I don't have the "ship registration" brick, and that's a model I might want to have sitting around untouched... it's history, ya know? ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

So where are the pics of your ships then? I'm only just getting back in, and simply don't have the resources yet for this kind of project. Give me a year or so.... In the mean time I made two hulls in the 25"-30" league that can be seen here: (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)
