Re: 3 New Creations @ Moonbase Io

(...) Thanks Ben, I'm rather proud of the Cassowary's toe design using the brown angle joints from the destroyer droid. What did you think of its rotating side- cannons? Todd (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: How well would this go over?

This sounds fun. I'd like to have an unlimited class surface racer category, for which I've thought of a few basic rules (just so that I can use one of my war surplus GEV's). The race schedule would consist of several different courses, some on (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

(...) Good idea, maybe 2 or 3 different size categories. (...) Sounds good as is. (...) Nice, a field usually not thought of. (...) Some people are going to give practical speeds and some will give some giant made up speed, like 178,874 lightyears (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Early look at LEGO Arch

(...) arch suspension bridge, inspired by the Sydney Harbour Bridge (I live in Australia). It was about 1.5m long, and about 60cm high, or would have been if I'd had enough beams to build it then. The arches needed about 60 1x16 beams and the same (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: My elevated aquazone train system

I started Aquazone so I wouldn't need such a wide color variety of parts. However, now I really like it. I may continue building even when I have my full color assortment available again. My previous theme, town, seems a bit boring in comparison. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

I love your new buildings and an RCX train? WOW! You have almost made me want to make something aquazone in ldraw myself. (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  My elevated aquazone train system

This is an Aquazone-themed train system driven by an RCX. Here is the link: (URL) included additional technical descriptions, and pictures of the buildings attached to the track on the web page. Comments are appreciated. Brad (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build) !

  My Aquazone Basilica

This is actually more of a research lab in my Aquazone city, but it reminds me of a basilica. It definitely shows some byzantine influence as well: (URL) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build)
