(...) I think a Mars base would be mostly underground too, as you wouldn't get much protection from radiation with Mars' thin atmosphere. Although one problem is that a lot (most?) of the structure of a *Lunar* base would be underground: a Mars base might be easier, since I would expect most of it to be on the surface. I bought the 'Ultimate Lego Book' yesterday. and i got an idea. In it, thier is a massive super tanker, modeled fo the 4 inch people they make for scenes. You may find David Karrs tanker inspiring: (URL) for the bricks, I ususally use red bricks for the hull instead of black. The reason why is because red bricks seem to be in more abundance then black. (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.modelteam)
