  Re: Mecha Legs

Finally someone who sees my point of view! The only problem with and an anthropoid or even semi-anthropoid is that is might be a little top heavy, oh well... BTW Andrew, weren't Kain's legs more like scaled down Madcat (Battletech, Mechwarrior) (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Crashing your Lego creation safely...

(...) One might say you have an APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION! I can already hear the opening riffs for "Welcome to the Jungle". Commence firing up Winamp... :-, Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Mecha Legs

  Re: 10 Starship Designs

(...) A) I really like Legos. B) I've never fooled around with a modeling program before LDraw/LEdit and I really like it. I have no idea what else is out there, but one day I'm sure I'll get bored again and have to something else to pass my free (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Images of Civilian Space Freighter

(...) Excellent freighter. In the closeup picture of the side door of the ship: (URL) It looks like the door opens, but I can't figure out how. Is it hinged? Sliding? Revolving? In this alternate shot: (URL) looks like the door is recessed half a (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Sydney Opera House

Well, there is a really large model of it in Legoland, California. It's shown in "The Ultimate Lego Book" (from DK Books last year.) They give some (scant) background on the process, noting it was done with computer guidance. -Erik (NY, NY) (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
