Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

(...) Nothing new yet. I've had a lot of great starts, but haven't been able to follow through with anything. I've been fighting a case of builders block. -Duane (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) a (...) stereotype (...) Beta- (...) up. I think that symbol is a front view of a LEGO steering wheel, so I doubt it means much. But it would lean more towards the driving school vs. a dealership. I think I would think twice about buying one (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

Thanks, Nick. Actually this ship resembles Jeremy Sproat's amazing "Baby Roc" Troop Transport: (URL) I really hate/dislike, when my models end up similar to other peoples; like this model, I never intended to make it an AG Craft and a Troop (...)   Re: Car Dealership

(...) And the correct answer is: A: None of your business! As far as you know, I'm paying cash because I already arranged financing somewhere else, and oh, by the way, the amount I arranged is also none of your business, although you can figure it (...)   Re: Car Dealership

(...) I always saw the huge showroom window as more of a parking space for the car. You would think that lego could have used its "showroom" window piece that was available at the time(as seen in 6375 Exxon Gas Station in clear and 6970 Beta- 1 (...)   Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

(...) Thanks a lot, Joseph. Can you believe that the only reason I built the sliding doors was because I saw and read on your website how you wanted to make a LEGO Bell-Huey but still haven't achieved your desired goal... Well consider my model a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

Thanks Pat, regarding the troops, if I made a larger cabin, it would have looked too big and awkward. Anyway, the main goal of this models, was A) make sliding doors, B) make a nice, attractive VTOL that looks fasts, and is (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Car Dealership

(...) Beautiful...my only suggestion is to make the architecture a bit more interesting. Break up those windows with some supporting pillars, maybe. --Bram (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: KEN-TUCKY WORKS has been updated

(...) too cool, mladen! the black and white rod-and-cone missiles are sheer genius. also, your pov presentation is great to display the models. where in the heck do you get the time to work on this stuff?? ..joseph g (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Multi-story buildings - story height

(...) For office buildings I use 7-10 bricks per floor. Real office buildings are a minimum of 9ft + 3 t = 12 feet per floor which is about 8 bricks. Residential dwellings are shorter of course. KL (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Car Dealership

(...) They wouldn't be bad, just not ideal. Most office windows I've seen are tinted. There are some that are clear, and it probably wouldn't look bad. Once again, Mladen you have created a fine peice of LEGO machinery. My only nitpick is that it only carries 4 troops (or cops in this case). Pat J (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
