Actually I have built the "Ryu" mech from the LCad instructions on Karim's site, it is about 95% complete and will stand on it's own (with some careful balancing) as long as the booster "backpack" is not attached.I have made some changes to the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I've found that when it comes to adding steering to very small vehicles, it's easiest to do articulated steering.
