Actually I have built the "Ryu" mech from the LCad instructions on Karim's site, it is about 95% complete and will stand on it's own (with some careful balancing) as long as the booster "backpack" is not attached.I have made some changes to the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I've found that when it comes to adding steering to very small vehicles, it's easiest to do articulated steering. While were're on the subject of mecha: a) I have just completed 80% of my new Rapid Response Mecha that is about twice the size of my current mecha, it's going to have a white and red paint scheme, b) (...)
