How do you posibly build mecha in MLCad (if thats whats you use.) I find it incredibly difficult to even build my legs in MLCad, not considrering evrything else. Can you guys give me some pointers ;)? (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Messing around at my local WallyWorld, I discovered a pretty inexpensive option for making capes, without the fraying problem that most normal fabric encounters. I see a lot of mecha posted here which are nicely rendered with MCad and other packages. They look absolutely fantastic - but am I the only one that it bothers that many of these designs couldn't possibly exist and stay together, stand on their own, (...) It's got 4 legs and a cannon. What more can i say? It is my second mech, and will soon be featured in a new section of my completely overhauled website. (...) with using throwbot limbs for mechs is that they limit the size of the mech and creativity in limb design. I wish that TLG would make brick-based modifications on the pieces- such as a ball with axl fused to the side of a 2x1 brick and a (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
