Re: New Mecha - "Parasite" Tank Mecha

Wow is the only word. You far surpassed excelent with this one. It looks bigger than it is, but that doesnt really matter, because it looks great! Keep up the skill. Pearson (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - "Parasite" Tank Mecha

Thanks Ben, I think I'm getting better because a) I am trying so hard to not copy anyone else, i.e. I have stopped using Karim's mecha hand ever since the Grunt Mecha, and b) I have stopped *building* models, and moved to *sculpting them. Thanks (...) (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) question: about how big is it? I am not a good scale judger. It looks pretty small, though. I must say that you did an awesome job of getting all that nifty stuff into such a compact space! Greg Majewski (URL) (25 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Check this knight out...

Howdy all, I've been hunting for ideas lately, so I decided to stray away from Star Wars and Space and try my hand at some Castle stuff. This is the first result. Though he isn't nearly Craigo quality, I think he is the best minifig I've done to (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Contest Update

(...) Hang on, I thought that the point of the 'Alternatives' was to re-build a single set. The entry you have there uses a SnowSpeeder and an X-Wing. Is there a limit on how many sets we can use? If not, then that isn't much of a challenge, is it? (...) (25 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Update at the LMF Plastic Armory

Hi John Once again, your mecha have beautiful form, but I really think you should limit yourself to three colors at most.
