...title says it all... (URL) I'll have a spare minute or two, I'll put them up on my site with captions... but I think the context is pretty clear :-) -Shiri (URL) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general) !

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

Those are high intensity flame throwers. They redirect waste fuel and heat from the reactor and spew it out all over unfortunate enemy soldiers. These mechas run very hot, and need to dissipate heat. I liked this method of heat dissipation as it (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

Cool looking stuff. That one with the big gun reminds me of one of my favorite Macross Mechs. pat J (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

RE: Construction equipment spotted on Brickshelf

(...) The grader is cool. I think this site has been around for a while, I remember seeing it some time ago last year. My only (humble) criticism of the grader is that the front end looks a bit bulky. I would consider using some Technic angle beams (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

(...) Man, those are sweet. You gotta browse around to see them, and unfortunately there aren't a lot of pics you can download for later reference, but definitely some cool designs. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Construction equipment spotted on Brickshelf

(...) I've come up with. However, what really got me about the models I saw on Brickshelf is two-fold: they have the "Legoland look-and-feel", and they're easily within my budget to build. :-, Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

By the way, you have to follow this path: Front Mission 3 --> Features --> Customization Unfortunately, the screen pics are a bit simplified. If you really want to see the mecha, you should try to find pictures of the toys. I'll report back if I (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

Buy extras. :^) I just bought my second X-wing set this week. I just love the new Star Wars parts... lots of good parts. I finished a new mecha last night. Turns out I have a wealth of red slopes, so I decided to build a red mecha with black and (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

(...) Well, I've just tried to build a Mech and dismantled it again because it was tat compared to yours. I've done another one now, a sort of cross between the PatLabor Mobile Police Suits and Marvel's Transformers. You can have a look, just as (...)   Re: Star Wars LEGO Design Contest II

(...) not been officially build yet (for example: Bespin Cloud Car). Or do you think the model must be Pre-SWLego!? (...) No, I would say keep the 'Best never built before' category, to encourage people to make new models. The Pre-SWL idea was (...)   Re: My initial webpage and some thoughts

(...) Sure. Here's a snippt of HTML from your Gladiator page: <HTML> <HEAD> [...snip...] <TITLE>TurboSled - Light assault vehicle</TITLE> [...snip...] </HEAD> All of the model page have this. The effect is that, in Netscape anyway, the words (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish)

Re: My initial webpage and some thoughts

(...) Thanks for taking the time to check my site out. Your comment brings up an interesting point. I had some friends over and they were looking over some of my creations. They commented on how nice they all looked, but they were most attracted to (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: My initial webpage and some thoughts

(...) Of course I did, I found one of the better ways to learn is to leave yourself open for critquing. You may not always like what you hear, but if the person is being honest, you might learn something to help you in the future. (...) Can you be (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build)

  Nosejobs...

You know... the thing I hated most about Timmy was his freaky nose. That sucker was just meant to be removed. Out came the X-Acto blade and off went his nose. He really does look 100% better, more like a normal, healthy, noseless minifig... ok... (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) I do have to agree that the Quint is not bad. I do like the new additions to the page, using the ResQ sets. I am especially impressed with the snow mobile and Snozzel. I too, have been building the 6 wide apparatus for sometime, but until (...) (25 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn, lugnet.loc.us.va)

Re: My initial webpage and some thoughts

(...) Well, you asked. :-, All of the HTML pages have "TurboSled" as the title. Then again, your TurboSled is my second fave from these pages, second only to the Snub Fighter. I like their style; they have a utilitarian feel to them. When can we see (...) (25 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) Thanks all for the kind words! When John Gerlach brought his amazing new 3.3 megapixel digital camera (with 340 MB Microdrive!) to our weekly G.M.L.T.C. meeting he kindly agreed to take pictures of some of my MOC's. He even burned me a CD with (...) (25 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)
