  Re: New Ship: "Mosquito" Fighter/Bomber

Yes my friend Bramius, like the finest wine in all of this great kingdom, I get better with age... Jokes aside, thanks for the nice comments Bram, now it's time for you guys to do better, I say BETTER than ME! ;-) I just can't believe nobody (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Ship: "Mosquito" Fighter/Bomber

Thanks a lot Jim, I first built the bomb caches, and then saw that I could add the wings on the side, and yada, yada, yada, ended up with the "Mosquito"! Hope that was as vague as it could be... ;-) (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Project Paper...

(...) I'd love this... too bad the page comes out empty on my browser; with only a title and a disclaimer... :-| -Shiri (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Work in progress: World Trade Center. Some photos too.

(...) Hmm... in my last (and very weird) town MOC, I had an elevator that sort-of worked, but manually (on a string and lego pulley). It was not a pretty sight, I can suffice to say; but it worked and I liked it... -Shiri (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Work in progress: World Trade Center. Some photos too.

Bram: No, they're fixed. I wanted to make real elevator doors & elevator shafts, but given the facade of the building, I decided not to. Plus it gives me more building space in the upper floors. I'd like to implement real elevators eventually, but I (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) I agree. I especially like the way you built the wings. Seems like you just keep getting better... --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Johnathan: Dont I know it! I cant wait for Lego Direct! :) In the meantime, I've determined that I'll need about 50 of the 1200pc bulk buckets for each of the buildings. Ouch! Thats 100 buckets total! (I'm praying Auczilla will have some white 1x1s (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Some more MGLM Mecha

Mark, To answer your questions: 1) Nope, they don't fall apart at the shoulders too easily. I have problems with the feet falling off sometimes, but I haven't found a really good way of getting full posability out of the ankles any other way (and (...)   Re: New Creation: Pheonix W

(...) Au contraire, mon Legomaniac. :-, Space vehicles don't necessarily need to look "solid" in order to be structurally sound. An example would be the Lunar Lander, which endured some significant g's while landing. Another example, perhaps better, (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
