Have you ever warped or broken parts?

Hi there, I've started to construct things I would never imagined building as a kid -- things that might strain or even break parts. I've seen some examples of these types of building on various AFOL web pages, and perhaps so have you. For example, (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

  The mythical gender-changing plates

Hi, folks, Forgive the rather broad initial newsgroup distribution -- there's a method to my madness. Followups are set into a single newsgroup that many people may filter -- namely, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands. I have heard tell of a very useful (...)   Blood Stone Castle completed!

After more than two years on the project, all of the architectural details of my huge "Blood Stone Castle" project have been completed. While the interior decorators are still hard at work (and will be for several more months), I have posted 40 (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle) !!

  Another Challenge......

I was searching eBay for some reference material when I saw this auction: (URL) is a perfect Fire Truck to be modeled into a Lego Truck. Just, i'm kinda stumped on some parts, for example: The red ribbed part in the middle third of the back part is (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

  New Pictures on their way!

Hey hey hey! Well, I'm going to be able to "borrow" a $600 digital camera from my school, so expect a whole lot of new pictures at S.W.A.T.: Some Weird Action Team! I have a few new creations to take pictures of, and I'm going to take new pictures (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: LEGO DUPLO eggs and K-Mart sale!

The egg top almost fits a 2X10 plate. It is slightly too large, so the fit is very loose. It definitly does not fit like the old radar dishes. There are DUPLO studs on the top of the 'top' and on the inside of the 'bottom', and DUPLO 'holes' in the (...) With practice you can get a reasonable pumping speed but it looks incredibly perverse! Besides, it still won't (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

(...) great stuff! i like the way you included the tamiya box in the background. more than a few of those models have inspired some of the stuff i do though i couldn't come anywhere near the replica you made. in that vein, how about the large german (...)
