  Re: Orangetron micro capital spaceship

(...) Personally, I don't mind studs at all and as a matter of fact, they remind me of my childhood so I say buck the trend!! Long live studded construction! :-) And I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with the three color rule - is that something that (...) (17 years ago, 2-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

(...) Thanks, Dave! (...) Good eye. At some point after I started using the reflective silver armor for Saul and Jonathan, I noticed that occasionally the reflections are a little too clear for comfort. It was sort of troublesome for me because such (...) (17 years ago, 2-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Hey Brendan, As usual, superlative work in every way! I was especially entertained by seeing your reflection in the soldier's chrome 2x2 dish shield about 4 or 5 pictures into "Saul tries to kill David." Dave S. (17 years ago, 1-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Look Out Ben-Hur! It's a MoonChariot!

The primary moon exploration vehicle of the Space Imperivm (whose motto is, of course, "Spacius Populusque Legonus"), the Moon Chariot is both powered by its own drive motors, but greatly assisted by the use of a Canequis (that's the horsey-looking (...)   Re: Orangetron micro capital spaceship

(...) I agree with Richie - it needs a bit more - less studs, and/or more greebs. However, I really like the color scheme. It's not busy, and they all complement each other. The three-colour rule, like the Pirate's Code, is more like a guideline. (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Interesting Use of #30031 in Micro Walkways

(...) One of those simple flashes of inspiration that makes you go WOW!!! Its not just applicable for micro building either. Tim (17 years ago, 29-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Orangetron micro capital spaceship

(...) Schmooveness, CM Bob. Spotlighted. I think you should cover up the studs, and add more greebs. And don't forget the three colour rule when you're choosing your colour scheme. I know it's only microscale, and it is a capital ship, but I think (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !

  Orangetron micro capital spaceship

Just a little capital ship I made with only the parts available in the (URL) 5525 Amusement Park> set (a great deal for $25): (URL) It's probably too derivative of Star Trek and Star Wars ships, but its my first micro so be gentle with me please :-) (...)
