  Re: F-4 Phantom MOC

(...) Vool MOC here! I esp. like how you captured the look of the unique spine of the Phantom's fuselage. I understand that you have compressed the design and I know all about fighting Lego elements when copying something from the Real World, but I (...)   F-4 Phantom MOC

Here is a MOC inspired by the McDonnell-Douglas (now Boeing) F-4 Phantom. The MOC is mini-fig scale in that it can hold a fig. However, the actual scale is compressed to using the small wheels as engines and the technic-air scoop piece as intakes. (...)   Re: Florence Cathedral: Santa Maria del Fiore

Hi, Arthur. Excellent model! That downside-out building method really does allow you to capture the feel of this cathedral at this scale in a way that "normal" building would not. I'm also happy to see you've added the new outdoor photos to your (...) (17 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.build)

  Office Building

Originally intended to be an Imperial training facility as I've managed to get the trans dark panels for windows from PaB. It didn't quite pan out as I wanted it and would start over. So I've just added some doors where ramps should have been to (...) (17 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I got my start in 1974 with the London Bus. A last minute Christmas present for my son. I was so amazed at the bus I went out on Christmas day to all the stores that were opened, like drug stores and grocery stores looking for Legos. There is (...)   Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) IIRC, wasn't there some pics of somebody's micro SW MOCs on Brickshelf a long time ago - they used a 1x1 brick for a Tie Fighter (or something like that)? It was pretty funny seeing one part MOCs like that! (URL) (17 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I initially was trying to build a *micro* Constellation, but by the time it was finished I thought the model better deserved to be called a 'mini'. Of course, this brings up the entire debate about what scale is micro, what is mini and so on. (...) (17 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I can see your point - its interesting how it appears to me that many AFOL's perception of Lego "back in the good ol' days" seems to change depending on what the Lego was like in their respective childhoods. For instance, I have always thought (...) (17 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
