  Re: Mosaic Homework Help?

(...) Hm. It sounds like your browser is trying to reload the image for printing, and is coming up against the fact that Lugnet is trying to prevent a lot of server load by regenerating mosaics. Which browser are you using? One way to do it is sort (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Mosaic Homework Help?

(...) I've just retried it. It is still not working for me and I am fully aware that it is likely user error and/or my computer settings. I was able to print your link just fine, but I can't print my photo. Printing from 'file' menu prints the (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Mosaic Homework Help?

(...) Huh-- what problem specifically? I just tried it in MSIE and Firefox, and made a little gif of Kjeld without much trouble: (URL) the problem that you're having with printing? I did notice that one of the links had "news.lugnet.com" instead of (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.build)

  Mosaic Homework Help?

My 3rd grade son is struggling through an enormous biography project at school and next week he will have to do a presentation! I thought having a mosaic of his subject would be an impressive display and hopefully an ego boost for him. I'm having a (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.build)

  Modest house

Since not every minifig in LEGO city can afford to stay at the Café Corner hotel, I thought it would be nice to have some kind of modest house - no gargoyles, not much colors, nothing fancy; just a plain street house: (2 URLs) gallery> This house (...)   Re: The Cruella d'Villa

(...) ROSCO! Thank you--that reminded me that I have a program for my Minolta DiMage Z6 that does batch processing. The Brickfest 2007 pics are now resized, and the folder will be public again soon. Lesson learned: I promise from here out that my (...) (17 years ago, 13-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: The Cruella d'Villa

(...) Hi again-- I don't like posting to my own posts, but so you all know...I have taken Ben's advice and gone through both the Cruella d'Villa and the Minifigs on Tour pictures on Brickshelf ((URL)) and resized them to roughly 1000x750 for faster (...)   Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

(...) Jaimie, This is just freakin awesome. Takes me back to the days when I used watch Tranzor Z and Voltron. Excellent work, man !!! Jon (17 years ago, 12-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Cruella d'Villa

(...) Ben: The resize thing isn't a bad idea--I have my camera set for ridiculously huge for a reason--it makes for better pics at printing for 8x10. But, I will try to resize them all over the weekend (at least, the Cruella d'Villa pics) to (...) (17 years ago, 12-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

I'll wrap this into one post and save some room. Thanks for all your comments. It was fun building something with a bit of a cartoony flare to it. And the X-pod container just really seemed to fit. A lot better than the typical dome canopy. This (...) (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Cruella d'Villa

I also like how your villa has that classic 1970's set feel with the arches and tile walkway. I do have a couple of suggestions about your pictures. Please resize them to be around 1000x750 or 800x600 pixels. If your pictures load faster, more (...) (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

I love the posable fingers! It has a great retro vibe to it. Well done, Jaimie - even though I couldn't say its entire name in one breath: 'Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7©®'. Do you mind if I just call it the (...)   Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

Totally neat build! For what you set out to build, you did great hitting the mark on your goals. Gotta love that name! Seeing all the great use of parts is fun to see on this. Thanks! - Eric (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) I really like the dino bodies in the elbows...and the X-pod cockpit...and the telephone ribs. OK--I guess like it all! David (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

(...) Hey Jamie! Absolute slam-bang nostalgic beauty and coolness! I'm mushy with childhood flashbacks! The proportions, the colors, the studlessness, aces all around! In particular, the clear Xpod cockpit, the canted computer screens and the (...) (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Joe Vig and the Ninjas

(...) Hey Nathan and Nelson, Thanks for the comments. The plateless thing was a last minute decision, but I'm glad it happened. I had finished the vig but then started playing with some foliage. This base just sort of happened after that. (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Joe Vig and the Ninjas

(...) Thanks, Will! I'm not telling you how many ninjas there are. If I told you, they would kill my family, eat my dog, and break my knees, maybe even in that order. (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
