  Integrated tram curves

Hi everyone, I've been playing around with trams a lot lately as you may have noticed. I decided I needed some integrated track/road units... but curved. Anyway, after playing around with real bricks I came up with this system. (2 URLs) MPD> In my (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: got Cheese?

(...) I thought Gouda was more mild than your bot looks to be. Great work! Like the pieces you used. Also like the unique theme (cheese, not robot). -Scott (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

(...) Yeah, it really shows! Excellent use of basic parts & colors to show detail. Looks awesome. -Bryan (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

(...) seeing this gets my fingers itching - I want to build... I really like the house under construction, the trees, the lady(?) with the pram, and everything else. There are too few shots mainly of the houses, though - I'd like to see more (...) (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

Wow that timber framed house going up is a masterpiece! There some other nice details scattered throughout your MOC, and the crane is definitely a worthy eye catcher, but I keep coming back to that house, Great work!   Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

Wow, what can I say? The school bus is great. Nice detail using simple pieces. But the masterpiece for me is the house under construction. The framing is great and even a board being sawed! Great details all around. (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  New micro moc: Suburban Development

All: Hi there! It's been a while since I've posted a LEGO creation like this one. I love microscale, and for years I've been noodling around with it in my spare time, creating lots of little cars and 2-inch-tall buildings and things. But they (...)   Re: got Cheese?

(...) I love it! :) Nice to see some fun work like this! Spotlighted, and Wallace (and Gromit) would be pleased, but you need some Wensleydale ;-) -Anne (18 years ago, 23-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: got Cheese?

(...) Beautiful. And appetizing. I have to say, shouldn't Gouda be able to convert into a "wheel" mode, droideka-style? Looking forward to seeing your designs for Swiss, Jack, and Velveeta. And the powerful-but-mistunderstood Limburger. How about a (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: ED-209

(...) That's true, but Aardman's stuff doesn't count because it's perfect--and it's a vile blasphemy to suggest otherwise. Its inclusion would automatically distort analysis of any other film!!!   got Cheese?

(URL) I like the 1x1x2/3 slope piece, and was inspired to use some in a new MOC. A friend of mine said that the yellow ones look like cheese, and that comment stuck in my mind... so after some trial and error, I came up with a little robot which I (...)   Re: ED-209

(...) Remember, Spielberg's JP wasn't all about CGI (though I'll forget the first time I saw the wide shot of the brachs at the lake, or the stampeding Gallimimus scene). He used puppets and also autoerotic dinos as well;-) JOHN (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Latest capship

(...) Very nice. I'm normally a minifig-scale kinda guy, but this ship is a lovely piece of work. Has a real "don't mess with me" feel to it. (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: ED-209

(...) Stop action isn't dead, but it's definitely "retro." Check out Aardman's "Chicken Run" or "Curse of the Were-Rabbit." Talk about attention to detail; there's practically a sight-gag in every frame! Just watch the credits for any modern CGI (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
