Re: MCP - Mecha City Project

Hey, This looks great and I look forward to seeing the combined display. One question: The standard only talks about streets and sidewalks. What about the rest? I assume that buildings should be on 32x32 baseplates, built up to the height of the (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  MCP - Mecha City Project

The MechaHub has announced the specs for its MCP (Mecha City Project). The idea of the project is to build a large war-torn city to use as a diorama to display Lego Mecha at BrickFest 2007. (Yes we know it hasn't been announced but have faith that (...) (18 years ago, 21-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce, FTX) !

  Re: More military MOCs

Dave, (...) Thanks for your kind words. Interiors on any minifig-scale vehicle are tricky. because as soon as you want to fit minifigs inside, you start wrestling with all sorts of scaling issues. Ultimately I go for a compromise between aesthetics, (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: More military MOCs

(...) I think that I like these quite a bit! The color scheme is rich and eye-pleasing, and I particularly like the design of the treads. Also, the presentation is good and gives a nice view of the the vehicles from all sides. I also like that you (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Laptop cooling platform MOC

A year back I got a new laptop. One of the first things I noticed was how close it was to the table surface and how little air got to the bottom side for cooling. A couple of design attempts yielded this platform, which yields a vary cool running (...) (18 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.znap, FTX) !!

  More military MOCs

Greetings all, Here are a few more military vehicles I've built recently. The Raider and Invader light armored vehicles rely on their size, low profile, and speed to keep their crew safe - their armor will defeat small arms and shrapnel, but offers (...)   Re: LEGO multi-media bathroom T-P holder

(...) SNIP... (...) Have you considered hooking it up to an RCX or NXT to alarm when the roll is getting empty? You could use a rotation sensor... Jude (18 years ago, 24-Nov-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)
