  Re: USCG Cutter

(...) Is that really what the interior of a Coast Guard cutter looks like? I've never been on a USCG boat before, but I've been on lots of other boats of similar size before, and none of them have been nearly that spacious. Your bridge looks like a (...)   Re: USCG Cutter

It looks really good - way to go! Big boats are always good. The bow looks a bit blocky - I guess you did it with slopes; you might want to look at how the designers make boat hulls with plates, however, I can't do any better, so I can't really (...) (...) Sorry should have noticed. Lugnet.boats is much more appropriate for the replies. I guess both technically work though. (18 years ago, 21-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Canadian Flag Sculpture

(...) <snip> (...) Thanks Jean-Marc! (...) I've thought about it. It looks pretty simple at first glance, but might require some SNOT to get the proportions of the cross correct. I'll probably give it a go. (...) Thanks Calum and Jude for your (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

acronym proposal: STEWW, great MOCs by Moko

Hey all, I was just appreciating these great MOCs by Moko: (URL) (click for the gallery) He includes some detail shots that show the construction, and I was impressed by the intensity of the SNOT.   Re: 2nd Joe Vig Contest Entry - Kicking off?

Hello Bon, Wonderful vignette, and very timely. My only critique is that I wouldn't have chosen such happy faces for the two blue figs next to Joe - the ones behind him look much more appropriately upset. Welcome to Lugnet, by the way. I'm not sure (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) I have no agenda and no concerns, I just found it amusing (hence .off-topic.fun).
