Re: Yet another mech inspired by Highway Haulers

(...) Hi there! Great collection of mecha you have built! I really like the overall form of your models, they look quite playable too. (...) This is a good place to come to learn! The feedback I have recieved here over the years has helped my (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Place the camera on a track and move the camera a tiny fraction (the minifig eye gap) and take two pics. (...) Agreed - I remember seeing this a while ago! The great thing about a vignette is that an observer can literally get into a scene (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

In lugnet.space, Timothy Gould wrote: -snip- (...) I'll have to look tonight, but one thing that I realized about fig view is that for it to be really effective the range has to be really close to the fig...like 6 inches away.   Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Hey Tim, Looks great! I'm not completely clear on what you were trying to accomplish - but it looks like you were able to do it. I've tried the steriogram, and it's quite impressive. How would you replicate this in LDView? It doesn't have (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Hi Joe, A little figeye experiment (URL) view> I can't tell if it works since I can't make these things work but in theory it should be right (assuming a fig eye spacing of 2/3 brick width). Tim (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Yeah - I think that would be cool, but I wouldn't know exactly how to do it. (...) Do be honest, that was just a coincidence - I just knew that that vig was somewhat popular, so I decided to make a stereogram of it. Ley, I like yours - I saw (...)   Harry Vig no. 4

Hi again. This one's a bit of a larger vignette, or rather two vignettes joined by a bit of snot-road. I can't help feeling it could use a bit more detailing, but decided it would be extraneous to the gag and kept it fairly minimal. Anyway, please (...)   Re: Choc-O-Matic

(...) This is a really terrific model, Nelson. You set the standard for vig building. And steam power and chocolate are a winning combination. ;) How advanced is his insulation technology? Allister (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Enjoy! (5 URLs) It's fun to just hit the explode button in LDD and see these come apart/together. --Bram (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
