  Re: Help with waist design

(...) I have had good luck with a very 'low tech' solution to the 4x4 turntable: I just looped a rubber band (from an old Technic set!) around the 'base' piece, so that the 'top' piece sat over it in two spots. The rubber gave some friction between (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Help with waist design

I'm working on a new mecha design which is coming along fairly well. Anyways, I have become frustrated with the 4x4 turntable part that I am using as the waist. Does anyone know how to tighten this part or have a different idea for a waist? Travis (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Containers

You could always "accidentally" stick a MegaBlock plate back there. It would be obscured from view and I don't think they have markings on the studs, but maybe they do. (I don't use MB, so I wouldn't know). I know Tyco had blank studs, but their (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
