  Re: My Second Original Mech

Ok Let's try this again. (URL)Assassin406>> Since, as someone pointed out, the mech doesn't look very feminine I've decided to rename it and post some better pictures. I'll be doing some instructions soon as promised and I won't fool around with the (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  4888 Ocean Odyssey alternate MOCs

Hi all, I recently went on a work trip and took the parts of set 4888 Ocean Odyssey with me. These two MOC's were the result. (4 URLs) All I added is a mini-fig. I wouldn't normally post about these MOCs, but I've seen a lot of posts from fairly new (...)   Re: Joe Vig: Inside, Outside, Opened, Closed

(...) Great Joe Vig vignette! I really appreciate the fact that you take the time to make the animated images of your vigs: that makes them all the more impressive. Joe vs. the Fleebnorks! Remember, our 2nd Annual Joe Vig contest is only a few (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: My Second Original Mech

(...) Yeah, sorry about the ftx code. I was in a hurry to post those pics late last night. Thanks for providing a working link Mark. I should also have mentioned that your work has been a big inspiration to me too. In fact I have a picture of Shogun (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: My Second Original Mech

When I look at this, it makes me think that it should be dancing. I can't think why. I like it. Agility is great, fragility is not so great, but seeing as I can't actually touch it, who cares? I like that tubing 'tache best of all - especially as (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: My Second Original Mech

(...) Yah, but the ftx code needs some work :) (URL) BS Link> Yup, I'd say so. You're getting a lot of the articulation knocked out nicely. Neat work, interesting how you keep track what parts come from what sets, very useful information. Keep it up (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pimp My Mech WINNERS

(...) Yeah, the turnout was about twice what I was expecting/hoping for. And the Mechs were about six times more spiffy. (...) It's a strange tradition that I've always used for my contests at ReasonablyClever.com. I think it came out of a desire to (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pimp My Mech WINNERS

(...) It was neat - and somewhat frustrating. Next time, I'm going to let myself have a vote as well, or maybe do a "Chris' Choice" award or something. I'm just thankful I had willing victims...er....volunteers to fill out the voting spreadsheet. (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
