  Re: The street

(...) A very nice street, and one I've seen in person recently. Here are a few more pics I took on the day: (URL) (this is as close as I got to a pic of the tulips) (URL) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Thanks Tim, that is such a cool idea, I had to build it and tweak it a bit. Untweaked with Brickshelf link: (URL) Tweaked with MOCpages link: (URL) Finished with Flickr link: (URL) You can see some notes on MOCpages and some of the (...)   Re: The street

(...) Very nice. I particularly like the white waffle-bottom plates as doors and the stacks of 1X1 round plates as awnings. David (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) Upon thinking about it - not going to work That is kind of a problem though... *most* people with mouse problems aren't going to let the mice run free until they can build a Lego trap, and those without mice probably aren't anxious to get any (...)   First set of pics uploaded! MSZ-006 (prototype)

This build has been an ever-evolving process. I thought I'd post a few pictures to get started (and hopefully finished). (2 URLs) Brickshelf Folder> This build was inspired by the MSZ-006 Gundam (lots of pics online), obviously I couldn't mimic it (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Small mosaic/picture

Here's a little picture I did .. (apart from the truck - credit for that goes to my boyfriend) (URL) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Smurf Mosaic

(...) wow that's a great Smurf, nice idea, maybe Papa smurf next (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: RX-78-2 Gundam

(...) I'd also suggest making the backpack a bit smaller, and in dark gray. The top isn't any higher than the top of the chest (excluding the collar) and only covers two thirds or so of the back itself. :) Jeff (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: RX-78-2 Gundam

It is nicely done - great proportion and articulation. I have to comment on the beam saber, assuming you are trying to match the original design: The beam part should be trans-red or trans-orange, and the saber hilt should be the white pieces (...)   Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) This could create curves, arches or wheels by introducing angling on the sides. Using a technic plate at an angle, this is usable for stair steps. (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Mr. Enjary, Excellent! I can’t wait to get home and play with this idea. I have a lot of these hinge heads lying around. There are quite a few possible applications going through my mind right now. Thanks for the inspiration! Attack! Mike (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

  Re: RX-78-2 Gundam

(...) Hello Charlie, I've to say this looks good, although I don't like gundams. Again you met the proportions very well. Personally I would like to have larger pics. The Flick link doesn't work. If you leave out the word hyperlink like (URL) here> (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: RX-78-2 Gundam

(...) As Soren will tell you, these kind of mechs are not really my cup o' tea...the only thing worse would be if it had a flaming sword, but your skill level is undeniable. Glad you worked out that posting problem, so you can share these cool (...) (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Alien Fish

This is a fish that I was working on yesterday. Just to re-iterate what is already on BS and MOCPages, the only reason I called it an "alien" fish is because it has an odd, thruster-like attachment on its tail. The only reason for that is that I (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) The only problem with that is that it necessitates the entrants having/buying a mouse, and letting it run around... but I'll see about it. (...) Jeffery (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: Zaku MS-06A Mobile Suit by Charlie Citrin

Nice. This Zaku has a clean look to it. For me, a real selling point is that it doesn't utilize alot of unique (or expensive) elements. It is clean, simple and elegant without relying on hard-to-find bricks. Oh, its also nice to see a mech so (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) No, you test it. I may or may not build one from your plans. Pictures or especially a movie of your trap in action will help you win. (...)   Re: WIP - Comments and suggestions much appreciated

Wow!. I can't believe I didn't see this until now. This is the kind of stuff I wish I could make. Can't wait to see the rest. Fradel (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Latest WIP shot

(...) Yeah, it's pretty obviously a stand-in right now. MAHQ has weapon lineart for a lot of stuff, might be a good idea to poke around and steal bits from several. (...) Up-and-comer is right! Welcome to Lugnet. Not much to say except it's good to see a new builder. There seem to be less of you these days. I've always loved this particular Gundam.   Re: Brickshelf find

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Didier...I don't have much to add, but wanted to let you know how cool this technique is. I'm planning on using it for some kind of gate or grill, as you suggested, in an upcoming dio. Nice work. -Keith (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Nice idea, for some reason I have tons of these hinge tops with out bases and I've wondered if I'd ever have a use for them. This technique gives me hope of putting them to use, great work! jt (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

Build a Better Mouse Trap The contest is to build a better mouse trap from standard Lego elements. Better means more reliable than spring traps and more humane than glue traps.
