(...) Less blur more eye candy pleeezzze (...) Never had that problem with Bioncile! ;-) (...) It's called the Bane of the Skirt. If you glue it I won't tell. (...) Nobody knows the diff. It still looks just as good. (...) I'm with Mark here! Sweet (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf find

(...) I like the chest a lot. The platey layered look isn't really doing it for me. I do like the ultra colored title pic though. But alas...are those *gasp* strings holding it up in the pictures? I guess I can overlook it ;-) If anyone knows who (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Didier...I don't have much to add, but wanted to let you know how cool this technique is. I'm planning on using it for some kind of gate or grill, as you suggested, in an upcoming dio. Nice work. -Keith (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Nice idea, for some reason I have tons of these hinge tops with out bases and I've wondered if I'd ever have a use for them. This technique gives me hope of putting them to use, great work! jt (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) Hey - that sounds great! I'm definitely interested, but I I'm not going to commit until I have a bit more info. So... the plan is that we build it, and you test it?? also, about the prize, an RCX would be nice, but I already have 2. Maybe (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

REPLY TO ME Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

--SNIP-- Sorry castleheads. Keep forgetting to remove the .castle from these posts. This one is in .build.schleim only so replies to it won't fill .castle. Sorry! Tim (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Here's a slightly more complex one (URL) might not quite work as pictured but shoule be adjustble to a working form. Tim (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Here's a little variant that should be good for trains and space. Tim (URL) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Can I nominate Fsnot for it. I'll give you a hint about that one: the F stands for the type of brick and Erik Amzallag, James Mathis and myself have explored it right in this very forum ;) Tim PS. It's no great secret that I have a little (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Gsnot is cool! I was not aware of this particular Snot (it should have been Xpost to schleim before). Dsnot, Gsnot...are you planning an alphabet SNOT project similar to the SW ships alphabet project ? ;-) (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

Build a Better Mouse Trap The contest is to build a better mouse trap from standard Lego elements. Better means more reliable than spring traps and more humane than glue traps. Live trapping is preferred- I don’t hate these mice, I just want them (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Hi Didier, I see so much potential in this technique. Seems a great way to do multiple angle adjustments in a small space. I'm sure I'll be using it at some point. Thanks for posting it. Tim (19 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

Hi SNOTters, I was playing around with hinges tops and find this : (URL) I don't know if it can be usefull...the building is tight and allow rotation with friction : (URL) and repetition may lead to castle grilles, grids, gates...
