  Re: New Power Armor PA006A

(...) Thanks dude. I posted an (URL) model>, sort of a prototype. (...) Oh yeah, I saw them on Bshelf but I was waiting for you to post. The hovercar, I feel, is missing something. I can't really say what it is other than maybe the engines need (...) (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hyena

(...) hmmm... chunky legs. my favourite. This is one helluva mean looking mecha. It seems to me to be a quite complicated construction but you've made it look quite ... straightforward. I love the way it moves, especially the twisting nose. And such (...) (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

(...) love the lime - great colour scheme. I think the 'arms' are too stubby - one like that might have been okay. Apart from that, the shape is nice - simple, in a good way. I would certainly buy this if it were an exo-force model! mo. (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Blacktron Crusader Robot

(...) shockingly brilliant. how you get all those little parts to behave so well is a wonder. (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

Hi Marco, Firstly I'd like to say, way to go with that colour! Never would have thought that those two colours would work well on a mech, but they look great. Secondly, I really like how with fairly minimal piece usage, you have still captured a (...) (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Viper - an Exo-Force excercise

  Re: V-pods

Thanks for pointing these out, Bruce. Cool theme. I especially like the ring of fire. Cute lion in that one too (to add to your animal database). -Brendan (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Panel Puzzles / Building Technique

Hey, that is very cool. Makes a great puzzle, but I'm also immediately intrigued by the patterns it could provide for minifig floors or walls. Neato. -Brendan (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  V-pods

Hi all, This is not mine, but none of these guys post on Lugnet, and this is a cool new sub-theme. Starting with Sugegasa, several Japanese builders have created vignette pods, or v-pods.   Re: LEGO Scale Question

(...) I was aware of that while writing but figured it would just confuse the issue more. Let's face it, if we cared that much about scale (some excepted) we wouldn't be building with Lego, we'd choose some other medium. Tim (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Scale Question

Hi Welshie, (...) On the contrary, your question is the crux of the issue, that being scale in the LEGO Minifig world. I am going to base my answer on a few assumptions, so please forgive me if pass along some data which you already know. "Studs" (...) (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) I know that this is going to be an "idiot" question, but when you say 1 stud= 1 minifig foot. What does that look like?
