Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

(...) Well... this is really something new! :-) The diorama has almost a sublime quality to it. I think you could have pushed that even further by making the landscape more rugged and desolate. Nevertheless, the serene setting you created is (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) I don't know Keith, the Third Reich might use them for evil purposes. What ever you do, DO NOT give one to One Eyed Jack. Take care, David. (19 years ago, 28-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

(...) Hi Adrian, fantastic idea. This is one of the dioramas I would love to build one day. The details are great. I do agree with Anders that as hard as it is to emulate dirt and rust with Lego a few well placed orange, red, and brown parts, close (...)   Re: New Power Armor PA006A

(...) I am so glad to see new arms on your hardsuits! I think in terms of parts usage, articulation, and size, the PA006A is perfect. Honestly, I cannot imagine anything that could be added or taken away from it to make it better. Incredible (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

New theme and new creation: Forest Sentinel

Thanks to Stephen King's Dark Tower series, I got it in my mind to build a post-apocalyptic theme that was basically dioramas of wrecked, destroyed, or nonfunctioning equipment, as is found frequently in the book series. I dubbed the theme Dust to (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

  Re: New Power Armor PA006A

(...) You got that right. (...) Thanks Mo. The PA005c is my favorite next to this one. I actually changed¬ the arms of PA005C to use the same method used with PA006A.¬ BTW, I liked your Humphrey. I hope you are planning to build more mecha.¬ David. (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Power Armor PA006A

Yummy. You've done just a fine work, Rabadan! I love your powered armor series for the point that your building technic and parts-improvement reflect directly the technology level of those armors. Your recently armors are more sophisticated and (...) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Well done. Good use of new grey (if only Lego would keep old alive too). I especially like how you did the wheels and undercarriage - very nice. I wonder if it would look good with those wheels scaled down to 6 wide? -Matt :) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

  Re: New Power Armor PA006A

This is really nice. The level of useful detail you've got in the torso is incredible. I'm not to keen on the legs - they seem a bit too blocky; but no doubt your options are very limited at this scale!- and they certainly semm well articulated. (...)   Re: New Power Armor PA006A

Hello David, the last time you published a power armor I stated, that it wouldn't be possible to do it better or smaller. You disagreed. Hey, you were right!
