  MILITARY COLLECTION and thanks

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments in the newsgroups and e-mail, it makes it all more worthwhile building the models.I am flattered by the response and even more determined not to let Lego slip by again! I will be moving (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Star Wars LEGO Design Contest II

(...) Agreed! Building alternate models out of official models is a really interesting challenge. Too bad I've already sorted my models into my parts bins, though! ;-) Fredrik (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars LEGO Design Contest II

(...) Yes, every SW-model is welcome. Most of them fall into the category "best overall model". Some can also be in the CAD section. I am thinking of other categories as well. Any suggestions ?   Re: Repairing minifigs

Super glue worked well for me. It can go on a little gobby, but if you don't mind shaving the excess off with an X-acto it should work rather well. Dave (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)

  Re: "Jackal" Heavy Assault Mecha

The "riot gun" or RBG as you guys (and gals, we can't be sexist now can we!) call it also has a little opening in the top to let the used up shells exit, this is just a detail I thought would add to the gun. The 2 "SRM6" are LRM6 in my book, but you (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Ya, they used 1x6x5 walls in a 1978 LEGOLAND Space set and then again in a 1980 LEGOLAND Space set -- and in both cases they were decorated elements. That's much better (IMHO) than giving a STAMP[1]... --Todd [1] _St_icker _a_cross _m_ultiple (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Page 7 of Spring S@H catalog

(...) The 1x6x5 wall piece is not so bad. And a little known fact is how old that piece really is. It dates back to the early 80's (maybe even late 70's). It was rarely used, and some of it's few applications included as walls in all three of the (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)
