John, the curved pieces are from the starwars dessert skif, No I did not drill the muzzel break out, although I am thinking about doing so!! (...) Wow! This is the absolutely best lego tank model I have ever seen. It's one thing to have good detail on the outside of a model but to perfect it in the inside as well is sure genious. You are in a league of your own my friend! That U-boat is one of the best LEGO models I have ever seen. The amount of detail and accuracy is extraordinay! And the fact that it has crew bunks, torpedo room, galley, engine room, conning tower, deck (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.boats)

Oh, and I was looking at the other pics on his site (he apparently takes a lot of inspiration from Gundam... me too!) and he had one where he used some ThrowBots pieces to build a skeleton. I tried to build something with ThrowBots pieces last (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
