  Re: MOC Chess Set

(...) I'm very curious about these magnets. Have you tried them? How tight is the fit into the tubes? Also, do the 2x2 tiles sit properly with the small magnets underneath? I'm thinking about using these magnets for my copy of the Cathedral board (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

Hey Bill, this is a very nice build. I showed it to my lady friend and she could not believe how cool it is. I quote: "Your gonna have to zoom in on that one, I can't believe that's Lego." Mean while I'm starring at the loads of 1x1 tooth pates and (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Nice! I especially like the panels under the first-floor windows. But where's the Ricky Ricardo suite? Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Hotel Coral Essex

Hey Gang, Finally got some pics taken of a couple models I built for the SPLTC train layout we did for the National Orange Show we were at in San Bernadino over Memorial Day weekend. It is completely out of my imagination but based on the grand old (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX) !!

  Re: Four new vignettes

(...) Hey Brendan, Thanks for the kind words. You're actually the first person to mention the face choices, which I thought was key to the whole scene. (...) Thanks. I can't say for sure that it's original at all. I've probably seen someone do (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Thanks Anne, I always figured if I ever had a couple thousand bucks to throw around, I would buy the stand up arcade game of Donkey Kong. But between roommates that are not keen on turning the living room into an arcade and lack of extra (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Thanks Janey, I had a blast building this. It is the second time I used arches in this way to create eyes. The first time I did it was for a client who wanted a Lego version on their little dog, a Chinese Crested Powderpuff (also on my (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: Two new mechs from me: Cluncker and Powersuit

(...) I think the name Clunker suits the first one to a tee. It reminds me of the Asmiov Powell & Donovan story "Speedy" - they climb on the backs of two really old robots. The one eyed wedge head is a little ominous - but overall it is very well (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Of course, I haven't played on a Ninendo in ages, but this little guy brings back memories of Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. Oh yeah, spotlighted :) -Anne (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Wow Bill, excellent job! I saw him on Brickshelf and it is one of the few MOCS I have called my children into see. They were suitably impressed as am I. I was particular impressed with both the over all shape and the way you did his eyes with (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Two new mechs from me: Cluncker and Powersuit

  Re: Bouquet

(...) Pretty! It's refreshing to see an unusual design like this. I'd never think to make flower petals that way. Nice touch with the pick-a-brick cup as vase! -Suz (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Seaside Castle

Nice MOC. I especially like the multiple levels. It suggests multiple lines of defense. I also like the way you incorporated a sloped roof into the castle design. That always makes it more interesting. I also like the way this is built on a spit of (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Super Mario

Hello! Just thought I'd post my latest creation, Mario from Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers!   Looking for a Building

Hello all, I hope this post is okay to go here. I came across what has to be one of my favorites builds a while back, and I can't seem to find it now. I believe it was on Brickshelf, but I'm not positive. The pictures I remember were of what looked (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.arch)
