  Charlie

(2 URLs) Charlie> Charlie I started to build a version of Alpha with dark gray instead of yellow. Some missing bricks made me change my way. The body got bigger, so I had to adjust the legs and feet. The result is not to bad I think. It's the (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Stuttgart Tram in 6-wide

(...) How 'bout a grey minifig head stud reliefed into the space in front of the driver's controls? Or a grey piston head (Although I'm not sure about how you'd attach it.) These two came to mind after I asked myself what is smaller than a 2x2 round (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Holger Matthes wrote: <snip (...) Have you tried a chrome silver 1x1 round plate mounted into a technic brick (stud in).   Re: Entry - MPC - Brian Cooper - Large Mecha

(...) Thanks. I gave the head a pronounced jaw and made the feet stubby and rounded for the retro look. I'm going to try to further develop this style. Actually though, to be proper retro giant robot minifig scale (RGRMS), I think it would have to (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: RalphS

(...) Glad to see that you found them and like them. They have only been on brickshelf for about two weeks. That you didn't find me anywhere else on lugnet is because I never posted here before. I intended to post a link to my folder here, in order (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) Thank you for your kinds words, gentelmen! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my first AFOL event and look forward to many more! (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) It was amazing - since I was right next to him during the build, it was fun to watch too. Other than my one tall GBC module, we could have run most of the GBC right under it in its shadow, with plenty of room left over. (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) I'll say. I don't think I've EVER seen a MOC so big that it "shaded" other MOCs! (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) The pictures don't do it justice. It was pretty impressive live. (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Entry - MPC - Brian Cooper - Large Mecha

(...) Your Teknomeka are SO ENORMOUS! They're so big that in the thumbnails you can't tell if there are any studs! Great feet and head on this one--very impressive. (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Tori

I thougt it was the time to try covering a famous frame. As I didn't want to start with a large one I choose the GlaGla armature. So here is the result: (2 URLs) Tori>> I called him Tori.   Re: Drake MkIII

Thanks for the reply. I agree, the overall look is much more pleasing. I started thinking of making Drake a carrying platform for different types of weaponery. So I could refine it even more. We'll see (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 8-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Happy Birthday Disneyland!

(...) Man.... I guess I either have to repost this on July 17th or build something new between now and then! Disney must have picked May 4th as the start of their summer season more than the actual date of the aniversary. Summer long celebration (...) (19 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  RalphS
