"That's My frog!" - A Joe Vig Vignette

Hey All, Here is my first contribution to the Joe Vig phenomenon. Sorry, some of the pics turned out a bit blurry, but the lighting is odd right now and I was having trouble with my autofocus. Deeps: (URL) (post mod): (URL) me know what you think! (...) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

Re: [WARNING: OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT] New MOC: The Shpleem's Night Out

(...) <snip> I remember seeing something similar to this on the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom when I was but just a lad. To the best of my recolection there were no wine bottles involved though. Soren, I applaud you for the shear boldness of this (...) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: [WARNING: OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT] New MOC: The Shpleem's Night Out

Wonderful. An R-rated (X-rated?) vignette. An I thought I had seen it all. Disregarding the...er...shpleems themselves, I like the vignette. The studlessness is cool. (and I'm refering to the little bumps on the bricks, BTW) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: [WARNING: OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT] New MOC: The Shpleem's Night Out

(...) Why?(1) The content may(2) get neutronbot on to the netNanny list but that's your site's issue, not LUGNET's, a mere link should NOT get LUGNET on that list. What's wrong with a link to it? It seems pretty solidly warned for those that might (...) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: [WARNING: OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT] MOC: The Shpleem's Night Out

(...) So would the 1X1 round pink plate below the female Shpleem (which I assume is some sort of mammary teat) be called an udder or a nipple? Why, oh why, do I even ask these things? (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

[WARNING: OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT] New MOC: The Shpleem's Night Out

(URL) The Shpleem's Night Out> Nothing you can't see on network TV, but if you're the type who thinks Bugs Bunny really needs to wear pants, don't click through to the MOC. You have been warned. Soren (preparing for a temp-ban anyway) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX) !!

  Yzerman Jersey Completed

Just thought I'd drop a line to mention that I finished the Yzerman Jersey that I have been working on. It came out pretty close to what I had conceptualized, and hopefully Steve will enjoy it. I'll post some picks when it gets delivered. (URL) (20 years ago, 24-Mar-05, to lugnet.build) !

  Eastern Block - FLAME

What do you get when you mix the need for EB ground based troops, a liter of vodka, and viewing too many of Keith Goldmans MOC Pages? Besides the (URL) failed hover tank>, you get the Fast Land Attack Mobile Enforcer mech. (URL) And this baby has (...)   Bulls Palace (Interior)

The Bulls build a palace to commemorate their recent conquests. An MOC previously used in a SW theme was modified to conform to Castle while still keeping the main structural design intact.   "And I think its going to be a long long time..."

With apologies to both Elton John and Gary Larson (now who here thought they'd ever hear that phrase), I present my latest Joe Vig vignette. Sorry the pictures seem to be a little small and there isn't much to it. (3 URLs) The whole Joe Vig-eriffic (...) (20 years ago, 24-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: ISD Build competition

(...) I dunno, it'd be cutting it close I think! The SSD is what? Like 10x the size of an ISD? Which, from an area perspective would require 100 ISD's to have the same surface area. And the remaining 10 to try and give it some semblance of (...) (20 years ago, 23-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.loc.us.in, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: ISD Build competition

(...) Simple--you disassemble the assembled ISDs and use the materials to build as many SSDs as possible. How many ISDs did we determine you'd need to build one to-scale SSD? You should be able to squeeze a few out of 110 ISDs, right? Dave! (20 years ago, 23-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.loc.us.in, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: ISD Build competition

(...) That would be awe inspiring.. (...) Not sure on this one.. (...) Here's how they're running it: 8 teams 10 people each. 2 Teams at a time competing 2 6' Banquet tables per team 4 sessions Friday (The Indy AFOL Knights will begin at 7PM) Time (...)   Re: ISD Build competition

(...) Yeah, I'm kind of wondering how well that will work. 10 AFOLs can build an ISD in about 1-2 hours, no problem. A non-Lego team? Who knows? The first AFOL build took 13 people 1 hour, 43 minutes, IIRC. Will a non-Lego team be done before the (...)
