I was inspired to build a little vignette after reading Nelson Yrizarry's perils of Joe Vig. "The street corner held an chance encounter for Joe when he bumped into his twin sisters and their new boyfriends." You can tell they're Joe's sisters (...) (...) Dan- As expected, it's gorgeous. The Ulithi (pacific) 44/45 camoflauge came out really nicely, though some of the details are hard to make out because of the shake in the images. (...) I gave the USS Duluth to my dad... so it's safe from the parts canibals (for now!). The Missouri is actually a slightly larger scale, so it would dwarf it if they were to be displayed side-by-side. A whole screen of Gearing class destroyers (...) OK, I got up early today and managed to get the photos from last weekend's GMLTC showing in La Crosse posted... including the long awaited (mostly) finished U.S.S. Missouri model. It's nearly 8 feet long, which prompted me to build a custom stand (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.military) !!
