  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) Nice work David, I thought the use of the ski was particularly inspired, and the jetpack was a nice compact design. I made copies of each and I'm working on some variants. Thanks for the inspiration. -Keith (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A few rendered MOCs

(...) I saw your post while I was flicking through Brickshelf before uploading my own. I was so tempted to go back and add a pagoda or gate or something to my model before posting. It's a nice little touch that really helps bring out the concept. (...) (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Moko Moko Moko !!!

SNIPPY You guys, I was just wondering, IIRC, Brickshelf asks for email addresses before creating new accounts. Why not try mailing Kevin Loch (Or whoever is the admin) and asking him to retrieve Moko's for you? Legoswami (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Gorgon" droid host unit

(...) Thanks, Daniel. I built the hip design from set 8811 just to see how sturdy it was and the rest of the creation grew from there. Later, Todd (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Gorgon" droid host unit

(...) That is an excellent model. I love how you used the same hip design as the Kikanalo from the 8811 Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo set. The use of the Bohrok head plates as shoulder armor was a slightly commmon but good idea. Again, great MOC. :) - (...) (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Gorgon" droid host unit

(...) Hello Todd, looks to me like an evil outer space insect. I like the way you built the hip joints. Seems to me as it could take much heavier weight. Well done. (URL) Marco> (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) Really? Is it coming apart? I played around with the parts so that I got a pretty stable MOC. I used new parts also. I shake it around, poke it, and drop it on my desk with no probs :). David. (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Some of my older Mecha

I finally found time to review some of my older pictures taken during the last year. Here are some excerpts I'd like to share...   Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

Hey Bryce! Great to see you posting again! As usual, you've pushed yourself harder than anyone could reasonalby expect. As one of the few to have seen this in it's earliest stages (10-15% completed?), I can only say that I knew this was going to be (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament begins the book of Judges

(...) For Brendan so loved illustrating the bible in LEGO, that he gave his own LEGO collection, that whosoever readeth The Brick Testament should not be disappointed, but have everlasting amusement. Or something like that. -Brendan (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) Nevertheless, I stand by my original assertion that offering royalties isn't critical at all in making the Lego Factory concept a success - and just adds another layer of complexity to what is no doubt an already complex process. It was a nice (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) True, but you're sort of missing the point that I'm speculating on. Limiting model size can keep the designs within the realm of typical consumer spending habits AND more importantly is probably required anyway, since I seriously doubt Lego (...)   Re: Razor

(...) Yep, that is exactly it. You can use whatever combination of gears you need (have a available) but this is the concept. Thanks for putting up the pic. We'll be needing to point people at that. Mark (20 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
