Re: Silver Squidy, Medieval Bot, and new Mr.Ham

(...) Medieval Bot looks like its thinking, "Where's the ball field? I want to play ball!" Either that or, "Chop heads, chop heads..." I love the Silver Squidy. Looks sort of like a fat Cylon. -Jeff (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: MOC: Florist shop (part two) final stage "The Forest Florist"

H'ello! That's colourful and beautiful. Very lively, too. And I bet there can't be found a single blossom on BrickLink right now :-) (Doesn't matter, people may go to your shop and get their flowers there.) Bye Jojo (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Soren's School Girl Mech

(...) OOH YEAH! I had a lot of fun learning from Soren's Skank bot when I reverse engineered it, but this one looks like something I might want to keep around to creep my mom out some more! You've captured the look perfectly, as always. It really (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Latest build after a long break!

Hello all, Its been quite a while since I've posted here and its been ages since I built anything. Its good to see some of the new builds out there, some truly awsome work! The latest project from D-Bloc, which is nearly completed, is "Gerraint". It (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

Re: Quarterback Passing Efficiency?? -- Hear me out!!

(...) After a night of pondering, I have found more parts that create movement. I have also thought (any suggestions) that we should have a separate speed and strength number. Some parts are faster than their weight or visa versa. Here is the new (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MOC:Bad Influence

-snip- And I will dub this new style: El Greco. huh? That name is taken, well floob! Lix0r, I love this new stuff and the way you keep thinking of new and creative ways to do it! This entire series is walking the line between toy and art - which is (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hardware Store

(...) Very cool creation. Who doesn't have lots of extra tools and gadets in their collection? This is a great way to display those extras in a cool looking, old style, hardware store. I have fond memories of real hardware stores like this when I (...) (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Plane assistance?

I'm working on a new model, and it's gonna be huge. I recently purchased the Lego Sopwith Camel set, and I was really impressed. So I decided to build a Spitfire about that size. Perhaps even a little bigger. I have a 1:32 plastic model kit I am (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: MOC: Florist shop (part one)

(...) Very nice. Love the use of color. I'd like to note the excellent use of printed parts. The stone walls and wood floor tiles are used very effectively, nice job! ~Kevoh (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: MOC: Florist shop (part one)

(...) Those would be from the new (now old) World City sets. They come as bars of gold. Nice job BTW Mel, I love the way the colourful inside contrasts with the outside walls. It reminds me of the 3739. And I dread to think this is noly part one! (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Quarterback Passing Efficiency?? -- Hear me out!!

(...) Okay, so maybe, I am a little interested in this project and Sundays are great relaxing days for me. So I wrote a perl script to calculate the ideal speed and strength variable for each mech type: Humanoid, Reverse Knee and Quad. Here are the (...)   Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

(...) Hah! Hey, I do squared off missile boxes too, ya know. But yeah, when you look at actual military hardware, there aren't any round parts unless there's a specific reason for them to be round, and there's no reason for a missile box to be (...) In lugnet.announce.moc, Melody Brown wrote: SNIP (...) I don't recall ever seeing so many LEGO flowers and pots in one MOC.   Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

(...) Sweet, three woofs and jumping catfish! I acknowledge your critique about the proportions--the new feet added more visual weight, with really nothing added up top to balance it. But yeah, I'm starting to get into the studless/greebling style. (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
